INGREDIENTS

3 cups of organic red lentils

3 cups of kales

1/2 cup of sesame seeds

1/3 cup of Nigella sativa seeds (also know as black cumin)

1 teaspoon of homemade vegetable stock

1 tablespoon of olive oil (raw, post cooking)

1/2 teaspoon of turmeric powder

1 bag of Indo-French Vadouvan spices mix from Raw Spice Bar

METHOD

STEP 1) In a large saucepan, slow cook the red lentils with the vegetable stock. Simmer for about 15 minutes.

STEP 2) Add the fresh kales, sesame seeds, black cumin seeds, turmeric and the Indo-French Vadouvan spices mix. Simmer for other 5-10 minutes.

STEP 3) Turn the heat off and add some extra-virgin olive oil.
